		+	While he has expended much effort to keep both his vampirism and his life before the transformation hidden, some have concluded who he really is, and there are only two people who know how Soveliss was transformed: [[Saraniya]] and the vampire who turned him. To those who discovered his vampirism and whom he feels he can trust, Soveliss has revealed that he was 80 years old when the transformation occurred, and he was had no choice in the matter. Despite not choosing that life, he was not going to let the powers and strength he acquired be wasted on primal urges that were bestowed upon his soul after the change. His first task was to master his power over this constant hunger that he was experiencing. Of course he knew the most "conventional" route to quench this hunger, but that thought repulsed him and he was hell bent on discovering an alternative. Until that time, he had to feed upon the blood of humans, it was the only way to survive, so he made a pact with himself: He would only feed upon the most heinous of criminals until he found an alternate source, and he would find the source with all possible haste. It is this point in his existence (could he really call what he was now living?) that he found guidance. While hunting for one extremely nasty child molester in the dark alleys of Halinarc, he passed a gorgeous woman clad in white. His new condition had heightened his senses, he could smell the docks miles inland, the scent of a baker crafting his daily wares while surrounded by a bunch of smelly Orcs, but this...this was different. He smelled her, and quite an alluring smell she held, one that probably helped court quite a few men into her bed whenever she desired, but there was more beneath the initial scent. It was something he had not smelled since his days as a child in the forest, a smell out of place in most cities; it was...[[Estridae\|lilies]].

		+	He followed the woman, his interest piqued. She weeved through town, appearing to most passerby's as though she had no true course of travel, but to Soveliss's trained eye, he knew she was not merely wandering for the sake of wandering, though he was so enthralled he barely noted the fact nor did he much care. Coming in from the edge of town, they slowly made their way to the center, extending a possibly five minute excursion to closer to half an hour, they finally encountered the woman's destination, which caused Soveliss to stop dead in his tracks when he noted it: It was the temple of the goddess of life, one that surely would smite him on site for being the abomination he was (though that thought was very tempting to him in a twisted way as well). However, before he could even make a move to leave, the woman turned around to face directly at his hiding spot in the shadows, spotting him with no trouble at all "It is safe, come, she has told us the truth of your life. No harm will fall to you 'cross the threshold." Dumbstruck, Soveliss was at a loss for words. 'Who could this person be?' he wondered to himself, for his new incarnation had also greatly increased his natural ability to blend into the surroundings, yet she picked him out as easily as one would spot a Naetroll in a Halfling community. And yet...he felt safe, and for the first time in a long while, he felt warmth. Following an instinct that his consciousness was screaming against, he followed her into the building, and into a new understanding of his predicament.

		+	It was here that he learned his thoughts of an alternative feeding source were validated and elaborated upon. He was informed that most of his kind fed upon those by force, traumatizing the victim (if they were lucky enough to survive) or turning them, but there were others that fed upon willing servants and others yet that fed upon the beasts. He was suddenly overcome by the sensation, more so than a mere voice in his head yet holding many of the same principals, that he didn't have to be a monster. He could carry out good deeds and help protect the weak from the strong and vile. It was this night that he learned of the prison town [[Ghear]]. There, there was a sizable population of game for him to feed if he so chose, and he could help keep the prisoners from escaping for they were beginning to defy their guards. If he so chose, he would be provided a steed and directions to the town. Requiring little time to think over the pro's and con's of this new life, Soveliss quickly accepted the responsibility of watching over the prisoners...nay, it was not a responsibility, it was...an honor. He rode for town not an hour later, proceeded by 2 messenger doves that explained the situation.

 Soveliss is very lithe, standing at five and a half feet tall, and weighing in at a mere 90 pounds. He possess an almost ideal build for a scout and hunter, and that is what he has been trained for. Each person has a unique way they carry themselves, created predominately from their personality and view of themselves, and Soveliss is no different. He carries himself with a grace that many a gymnast strives for, the practiced foot falls of a tracker, and a purpose rarely seen outside zealots. In fact, this purpose with which he has recently begun to carry himself with is generally not found too far from him, whether she is aware of his presence or not, in the form of the small child known as [[Saraniya]].

		+	Those who encounter Soveliss these days will find few, but fairly notable if they are the observant type, differences than how he looked for the past 100 years. Today, his skin has more life to it, no longer stretching across his face like it has been weeks since he last had any semblance of a meal. He is still pale, even by elven standards, but there it is a white pale, no longer gray. His long black hair falls down to the middle of his back, and his gold eyes pierce through to the depths of one's soul and gleam with intelligence that few have come to understand. Warm and inviting, yet quizzically understanding, his golden orbs no longer possess the hints of an ever present hunger that once haunted his soul.
