Zikrus was a [[Rahsa|Runic Era]] [[Etched City]], an seat of power for the [[Incarnen Clan]]. The city was magically formed into the mountain stone of the [[Teeth of Jiromne]] where it stood for a mere 30 years.

The city was to serve as a site for magical research, but it attracted the attention of the [[Jin Son Clan]], one of the more powerful groups of clans of that time. Unable to meet the Clan's demands, Zikrus was soon besieged. The siege lasted a painful 16 years.

As a last ditch effort, wizards of Incarnen tried to use the mountain itself again the opposing force. The succeeded in razing the mountain, but before they could use the great mass against their enemy the magic was countered, causing a catastrophic landslide that buried both armies. The magical disaster would be the first in a number of blunders affecting the Jin Son clan that lead most members to believe they had been cursed.

The ruins of Zirus would later be discovered by the Necromancer [[Nezra]], and eventually be renamed to [[Namasiiel, City of Ghosts,|Namasiiel]].
