Demon Prince

A Demon Prince is a demon that has, against all odds, fought, wheeled, and dealt their way to the top of the pack. Within the chaos of the Abyss they are among the most powerful creatures to step out of the primordial flows. These demons garner fear and respect from the lesser demons and must always be on their guard against attacks from their peers as well as aspiring lesser demons.

Most Princes have vast hordes of lesser demons under their control. These demons direct their hordes to do battle with one another in an effort to force direct confrontations with one another. The greater the army, the more powerful a Prince is in most situations. Demons believe that if they defeat enough of their peers they will be rewarded by becoming one of Balphurus's Demon Lieutenants and gain power that could rival even the dark god himself.
