Overview: One of the old families of Foriedy, Corvosa focuses on construction and repair for seafaring vessels on the Island. Ships are far from the House’s only ventured though, as their greatest claim is safe storage of goods. The Northern “docks” district is filled with Corvosa warehouses under lock and key, and the ever vigilant eyes of their mechanical guardians, the Chrome Guard. Remaining members of house Aldemon are also employed at the sites to provide living security too.

Corvosa is an elvish family who left the reaches of Tashmine when their blood was mixed, forcing them from the elven homeland marking them velderil (banished). The house grew great under the efforts of Illmaeutous, a heavy handed half elf who readily showed his opponents that steel meant more than words. His iron fisted leadership propelled the family ahead, making plenty of enemies along the way. Illmaeutous ultimately succeeded when he focused on providing protected services, treating goods protection with the same fervor he showed at the table.

Upon his death in 1006 LD, Illmaeutous’s Consulate seat was succeeded to his daughter Myranda whose focus on philanthropism breathed new life into the actions of the house and quickly transformed enemies into allies. Profits took a hit, ruffling feathers among close associates of her father, but Myranda feels that her wins with the Scarlet Order will keep her house in the seat of power for years to come.

Not everyone felt that Myranda’s efforts were in the Great Houses best interests. Kellish, half brother of Illmaeutous, has been trying to rally the family in support of himself to take the Consulate seat as he would maintain the style of the House’s former leader.
