Overview The dwarven family of Diemeda holds a strong reputation for being the House that can supply whatever the Island most needs. Primarily they import food, cookware, and general goods, but they are often called on to acquire less common items as well. From magical components to oil, the trade house seems to have all the right connections wherever it counts. This has made them an indispensable facet of trade on the Island.

Unlike the other houses, Diemeda does not sell their goods in stores within the city. They instead operate directly from their Barges and have several docks owned and reserved specifically for them. It has long been speculated that the dwarves do this in order to circumvent some of the Island’s trade regulations, but as with most rumors none have been able to prove it. Any attempt to do so would likely offend the dwarves and the Consulate is not willing to drive them to trading with competitors like the Scarlet Order.

Culture and history are important to the Diemeda family and they regularly trade for dwarven relics and information about the many ruins that dot the Isles. They take offense to people plundering the ruins but in a strange double standard will pay handsomely for recovered relics. Ancient books and cultural documents are what they seek the most. Such items are collected and the placed on display at the Shakrod Diemeda (translated to Knowledge Hall of Diemeda) found on the eastern side of the Spire. The Hall doubles as a brewery, and is the only establishment on the Island that is allowed to serve hard alcohol, namely dwarven spirits.

History:
