Null Eye

Description

The Null Eye appears to be a polished jet black orb, about the size of a bowling ball. When touched, the orb feels warm but does not have any radiant heat. Energy pulses through it like a low grade static electricity field, and causes the hairs on the back of your neck to stand on end. The orb itself weighs a deceptive 2000 pounds. When gazing into the Eye’s surface, you can swear that you could see countless white polished eyes staring back at you. Upon moving away the visage disappears and only the dark surface remains.

According to Legend, Balphurus plucked out the eyes of 1000 innocents. It has been debated whether these eyes were pulled from children who did not know evil, or if it came from something else. Using Abyssal tar, and the spit of demon-kind, he bound the eyes together in the shape of an orb. He left the Eye to solidify within the nothingness of the Void. It basked in the essence of the Void and over time began to mimic it. Balphurus used the Null Eye to hide the creation of the Zeckudai from the other gods. During The Myseyn War, the Null Eye was used to disguise the first Abyssal rifts. It was eventually taken by mortals and has remained on Saratta since.

Effects

The Eye exudes an aura that hides the existence and activities of one from prying eyes, both moral and god alike.

The Null Eye is currently in the possession of the Council of Magic.
