Othari

The language of the Othar. According to Othar lore, their language was handed down to them directly from the goddess Pasquirn. The language sounds like the hissing of snakes with mixed guttural sounds and accents. The language is nearly impossible for non-Othar to master as it incorporates pheromones in addition to speech. Council wizards have made rudimentary progress into unlocking the scents through use of magic but have yet to create any magics that completely mimic the smell aspect of the Othar language.

Othari is rarely spoken when an Othar has infiltrated another culture in order to avoid detection.
