The Pantheon of Saratta
Little is known about where the gods came
from, except perhaps to the oldest of dragons who may
still live in this world. To us, they
have simply always been. They interact
with our world sometimes subtly, other times directly. There is no reason to doubt they are
there. I have written this in the hopes
that it may inform the masses. We must
all understand the gods, for they certainly understand us.

gods of Good
Estridae - goddess of Life and Death
Lawful Good
Estridae is a healer to us, the life giver
and Shepard to the world beyond. Mother
and truth to all the world. Garbed in a white gown, she is the essence of
beauty. Her presence comforts those who
are seeking calm, who are running from fear, and those in need. All who rally under the light are blessed by
her presence.
The life giver of Saratta, and the one who will Shepard the World’s souls into eternity, Estridae is the deity of those who strive to lead their lives as good as possible. She is said to protect the weak from the strong. Many of the worlds Paladins and Clerics serve the goddess, dedicating their lives to her ideals in an effort to convert evil to good. They are ever willing to lay down their lives for the people who need their help.
Estridae is known differently all across Saratta. Her other titles include: The White Lady, Lifegiver, The goddess, Preserver, Llessa, and the eternal guide.

Demáen is the inspirer, the breath of courage that every warrior needs, the fires of hope that burn in all of our hearts. He is the purger and renewer. Towering and mighty, it is said that this god does not choose to take a male or female form, appearing to his followers as something that they want and need to see when the time for inspiration has come. His flame burns in our very being, pushing us ever forward.
Burning fires rage, wiping places clear, but the ashes also have a life giving property, what was destroyed will regrow in time, and when it does it is often for the better. At the same time, the flames that ravage on the outside can be harnessed for inspiration and love within. Demáen harnesses these powers, using them for the good of all and for the greater good. His power stirs people to action and flows forth compassion.
