Human

Humans are one of the most common races in the world of Saratta. Humans are an offshoot of the Elven race that branched off many years ago. Humans are an incredibly versatile race that have occupied most of Naltrim.

Physical Characteristics

Humans tend to stand six feet tall on average. Their skin tones can range from pale pink to dark browns. Their body type is heavier than an Elf, but lighter than an Orc. Females tend to be lighter and shorter then males.

Cultural Characteristics

One thing that sets humans apart from other races is they do not, as a whole race, tent toward one particular religion. A strong religious influence toward a particular god is usually isolated to a small geographic region, and even in that ares it is not uncommon for there to be many god almost equally represented. This is a major difference to nations such as Tyr where a defining point of the culture is the impact of a specific god. Some races view this lack of a defining god to be a sign of cultural weakness. In reality this shows the natural human independence that is also common in their race.
Humans value individual freedom much higher than most races (with the possible exceptions of Halflings). This is very apparent in their political structures. It is common for human governments to have many of it laws and legal matters dealing with freedoms. Tyranny is also tolerated much less and revolts against these types or government are common.
