Saratta's timeline is broken into multiple time periods or Ages. Archeological research and scrolls with historical tales have been used to piece together each age but little is actually known about each age before the Rahsa period. Elven song and myths are used to capture tales of the Pantheon during Eunuay and Avent but the histories about those times and whether anyone lived during them are merely speculation.
- The Ages of Saratta:
Eunuay (U-new-ae): The Age of Twilight, Void, or Time of Great Shadows. This age saw the creation of the world and the forming of its bonds to the outer plains. During this time, gods were born into the Pantheon along with the beginning of Saratta. Songs and tales are used to capture the creation story of the world.
Total Timespan: Unknown.
Avent (av-ent): The Age of Life. During this age the Nalkir grew to great power and engaged in combat with the Lifestitchers who cast away the ideals of the gods and began fighting. Their battle spurred great changes in the Pantheon, leading Telraedye to create the seeds of the Enuay (En-new-a) - a play off the word for the 1st age, translating to Void Blanket or Blanket of Night. It is an age of turmoil for the gods and ended with Balphurus being cast into the Abyss.
- Total Timespan: Unknown.
Vygn (vi-gun): The Age of Elven Song.
The Vygn period has no historical references but is recounted in Elven song and legend. It details the end of the Mysorran War and the First Dragon Rain. This age saw many great changes in the Pantheon and brought the elven races to the peak of their might. It tells of their struggles to grow with the earth and finally the events that lead to their fall.
- Total Timespan: Unknown.
Rahsa (ra-saw) RS: The Age of Runes.
- The Rahsa period begins the first age of recorded histories, pieced together by human scholars studying their origins. During this time humans overcame the elves using a new, powerful form of magic which turned over the tables of dominion to the world of men. The Rahsa period sees the rise and fall of the human nations as they soon turned on one another with their new found power before finally being forced from Thistol Narod by one of their own. The Rahsa period ends at the fall of Vorshek and the Gathering of the Council.
- Total Timespan: 3785 years.

Calgan (cal-gan) CG: The Age of Gold, Glorious Kingdom, or Golden Kingdom. The Calgan period is considered the golden age of Human civilization. It follows the gathering of the runic tribes under a single banner following the tenants of the newly formed Council of Magi as they transformed into a single kingdom that spanned across current day Arambashia. It included infighting between the many feudal kingdoms until one emerged victorious and lead to years of peace between men.
The Calgan period also notes the changes occurring on the continent of Thistol Narod as the presence of the Witch Lords dissipated leaving the Ephryn to try to form a society beyond their nomadic culture. It also sees the appearance of the goblins of Darilach as they emerged from the sands.
The Calgan period is broken down into three sub-ages when focusing on the kingdom of man. Foundation, Glory, and Fracture. The Calgan period also sees the first outwardly hostile actions taken by the normally passive Conclave. Believe in the Pantheon is at an all time low at the end of the age.
- Total Timespan: 2655 years.
Dakat (day-ka-t) DK: The Age of Nightmare. This age follows the final fall of the Glorious Kingdom after they clashed with the Council of Magi. Those with Psychic gifts began to see creatures they dubbed the Aenuay (again playing off the word Eunuay) or Nightmare Shadows. These beings appeared where-ever great strife could be found until they manifested into reality. Years of struggling thinned the human population to a fraction of its former size during the Calgan period.
The continent of Thistol Narod was not immune to the presence of the Aenuay either, leading to the failure of the Ephryn civilization forcing them back into their nomadic ways to protect themselves from the unseen threat. The only civilization to come out ahead were the Tyran Elves who saw enormous growth during the suffering of their enemies.
This period saw renewed faith in the Coucil of Magi and restored trust in the Conclave's ability to protect suffering lands (with the exception of Tashmine where they were forcibly removed when their efforts accelerated The Wasting).
- Total Timespan: 300
Lunidor (loon-ih-dor) LD: The Age of Moonlight. This is the current age of Saratta and began after the founding of the Naltronian Empire at the hands of Isidril the Lightbringer. Its name signifies the breaking of the darkness above returning light to all days. This period bears witness to the growth of nations worldwide; The Sundering that caused Naltronia and Arambashia to part ways and become separate countries.
The Lunidor period sees a resurgence in peoples beliefs of the Pantheon, and finally the War of the Heavens that plunged all of the world into chaos, culminating in the Second Dragon Rain.
- Timespan: 983 + years
Wyrus (weer-russ) WR: The Age of Dragons. Has not yet arrived in Saratta. This age follows the Second Dragon Rain and the rise of dragons as guiding powers.
