Summary: Mechanicus Arseneria is a take on the interactive properties of magic when infused with machines. The books primary focus looks into how magic interacts with gnomish hydraulics and can give living properties to machines. The text is very technical and an understanding of both magic and engineering is required to make it through.
This book details many of the methods of magical infusion in gnomish, goblin, and dwarven crafts.
Background Information: This book was written in 922 LD by Gethrye Lordull and Widge Trinket of the Echo Station beneath Gnomehold, Retroth. Their intention was to propagate understanding about how magic can be used to better efficiency and longevity of machines. Mechanicus Arseneria is the first volume of a compilation of 4 and the most reproduced.
After the release of the second book (Magica En Metaera), the governing body in Gnomehold ruled that the books were giving away valuable trade secrets and stopped circulation beyond the walls of the city.
Reading Mechanicus Arseneria grants a +1 bonus to Craft: Gnomish Engineering, +1 Craft: Gnomish Wonders, and +1 to Craft: Dwarven or Goblin Engineering – this bonus is considered misc and stacks with other bonuses.
