God-Kissed are the chosen of the Gods. They showed great dedication to multiple gods during their first lifetime. All known God-Kissed have died tragic or heroic deaths while in the service of their god. Through their faith (and the willing hands of friends and companions), they are restored to life, and carry with them the blessing of all the Pantheon.
While they are granted the ability to channel the powers of any of the gods, all of those who have been named God-Kissed have found it to be both a blessing and curse. A God-Kissed must follow the directives of the gods to the best of their abilities. These tasks may even be in conflict with one another. For instance, Demuen may task the God-Kissed with saving a city, while Balphurus will call for the same cities destruction. The God-Kissed must find a way to fulfill both tasks, opting to evacuate the city's people, and then see to the destruction of its structures. They will have succeeded in both tasks, pleasing the gods but often at the expense of their own social standing. God-Kissed quickly become pariahs if they frequent a region.
