Summary
Lord Savant Arden Krueler is a Tower Mage on extended sabbatical. Krueler is a highly skilled Conjurer with an extended knowledge of The Planes. His high ranking position in the Tower allows for Krueler to study some of the most ancient and potentially dangerous texts that the Tower has to offer. Aside from his love of magic and the study of the Conjuration arts, Krueler also has an interest in military history and tactics. Something he picked up from his military tutelage as a child.
Early Life
A military child, Arden Krueler spent most of his young life traveling with his father and the officer core inspecting troop garrisons and training grounds. His father had hoped his son would follow in his foot steps and join the military at some point, however Arden was a child of limited strength and a nasty habit of day dreaming. His father had the military trainers run his son through exercises and training courses when he got older, trying to strength the boy and give him the focus needed for a military life. The rigorous schedule and over bearing trainers only drove him further away and made him more aloof. The young Krueler really found his passion and drive one day when he first watched the Battle Mages sparing just outside the main training grounds. Lightning, fire, ice and earth, it was all at their very finger tips. At first his father was less then pleased that his son didn't want to be a soldier, but the traits that made him such a poor soldier might work in his favor in the Mage's Tower. He eventually consented to his son's wishes and made use of his contacts to get his young son into the Mage's Tower and placed under the tutelage of the Tower's greatest minds.
Arden Krueler became the first in his family line to for go the sword to study magic.
Tower Mage
His first few years behind the tall stone walls of the Tower Academy was spent learning the basics of magic. The ebbs and flows of magic energy, the rites and rituals that all wizards must learn, the traits and abilities of magical creatures he may one day encounter and even a few simple spells.
When the training began to lead towards the different schools of spell casting and the strengths and weaknesses each of them possessed, Arden found himself mesmerized by the powers of the Conjurer. He became fixated, everything he did revolved around the aspects it possessed and the potential conjuration could have. His studies of other magic schools suffered from his neglect, but he became an extremely proficient summoner in half the time that it took his classmates to just learn the spells. His teachers encouraged him to continue his studies in conjuration, and the Savant in charge of the Conjuration department once jested that Krueler would one day hold her position for all his dedicated study.
From that point on Arden spent the majority of his time in deep study of the planes of which the Conjurers powers comes.

From the Desk of Arden Krueler
What follows is a serious of writings and notes found amongst Arden Krueler's personally possessions after his leave from the Tower of Mages for reasons of personal health and wellness. They were originally found by his students who took it upon themselves to organize their Lord Savant's quarters while he was away. They now reside with Lord Savant Sandra Presk of the Adjurations Office for reasons of possible magical corruption and having driven one of the students into a partial comma that he has sense recovered from.
